Projects

Our team enjoys working closely with clients to ensure that the completed building project exceeds all expectations. We have undertaken a wide range of projects both large and small in the South County Dublin, Dublin and Kildare areas. What remains constant is our attention to detail, work ethic and commitment to the project no matter its size, budget or complexity. Have a look at our work and the type of projects we have recently undertaken.
Maynooth
This large detached house in Maynooth has been renovated in stages over the past few years. Initially we were approached to upgrade and reconfigure the bathroom and ensuites. Following this work we were asked to install velux windows to brighten up a bedroom. Next the client requested that we build a new patio and garden path and most recently we have undertaken kitchen tiling and replumbed the heating system.

County Dublin
Our client on this project approached us as she was tired of having a small and dark kitchen. We discussed many options and together a decision was made to extend the kitchen out into the garden and put in velux windows to let in as much natural light as possible. This involved removing the back wall, fitting a steel beam, building the kitchen extension, locating velux windows in the roof, fitting double doors to the garden, laying floor tiles and all the associated plumbing and electrical work. The result was a dramatic transformation from a dark kitchen to a light filled open plan living and dining space.

Dalkey
The owners of this period cottage in Dalkey had a run of bad luck. Their granite boundary wall collapsed, the front roof started to leak badly and the open plan living space downstairs flooded with the  entire downstairs wooden flooring requiring complete replacement. We worked alongside quantity surveyors, appointed by the loss adjusting firm, for a complete rebuild of the granite wall, brought in our roofing contractor and flooring specialist to tackle the roof and flooring projects. In addition, while the work was being carried out, our client asked if we could extend the rear patio, which we also undertook. The result was a very happy client who no longer worried about when it rained!

Kildare
A significant project was a complete new build of this timber frame house in Kildare. The house is a Kingspan Ultima with an A+ BER rating. From the foundations up this house was built to the Kingspan Ultima spec. The beauty of opting for a timber framed house was that it only took a matter of weeks to have a fully standing, watertight house. We maintained the high spec with high quality internal finishes. Great project to work on and the client was able to move in quickly with their family and two dogs.

Kildare
With a new baby on the way our client was looking for additional living space for a playroom, home office and utility room. After our initial consultation and a site visit we agreed that a rear extension would be the best option as there was room to extend into the garden without taking away too much valuable garden space, which would also be needed for the children to play in. A delicate balance. The family were delighted with the result and use both spaces just as they hoped they would.
